Apartments Itens: Our farm Zathe De Spieker is situated in the Frisian Grasslands. The stables of this farm have been completely rebuilt to form a guest residence with two luxurious, spacious (40 m2) and stylishly furnished guest rooms (sat TV, WiFi, private bathroom).
In the morning you will be served in the breakfast room with a wonderful breakfast with free-range eggs from our own hens. Breakfast room with refrigerator. Under the shelter of the coach-house is the guests' terrace. From the farm you can also see the meadow bird areas of Skrok and Skrins (nature reserves), which are open to visitors.
Itens lies in the heart of the Frisian Eleven Cities Skating Marathon route. The towns of Franeker, Sneek, Bolsward and Leeuwarden can also be reached within 20 minutes.
You can get to the surrounding villages on foot or else by bicycle along church paths, towpaths and the notorious Slachtedyk. There are places to eat in the surrounding villages.
